Recipes, Stories & Kitchen Confidence
My culinary adventures have taken me everywhere — from presenting food workshops at the iconic James Beard House in New York City to cooking live on television, writing cookbooks, serving as Corporate Chef and Recipe Development Manager at Vitamix World Headquarters, and being named Creative Woman of the Year.
Today, I continue sharing stories, recipes and food inspiration as the Food & Drink reporter for The Repository | USA TODAY Network.
But my favorite part of the journey has always been translating professional test-kitchen know-how into approachable, foolproof recipes for real home cooks.
Whether I’m teaching cooking classes, sharing live demos, developing recipes or writing about food, my mission is always the same: keep it fun, practical and packed with useful tips, tricks and techniques. In fact, I’ve often joked that my true specialty is “calming food phobias.”
I want you to ditch kitchen anxiety, get curious and actually enjoy the process — because good food should never feel intimidating.
